Danielle Cunningham
Danielle Cunningham is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Danielle completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in Adelaide in 2015. She moved to Melbourne in 2016 to obtain her master’s degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology.
Following the completion of her studies, Danielle continued to work in Melbourne, supporting children and adolescents, families, and schools. Danielle has worked for the Department of Education and Training as a Student Support Services Psychologist and a Professional Practice Leader. She has also worked as the sole Psychologist at an Independent School for students from Early Learning to Year 12.
Danielle has experience in psychoeducational assessment, counselling, group programs, critical incident management, designing and delivering professional learning for teachers and allied health, and supervising other psychologists.
Danielle has recently moved back to Adelaide and is excited to commence her own business, bringing her skills and experience back to the community she grew up in herself.
Danielle is passionate about supporting young people with the challenges they are facing and identifying their strengths and interests to improve their academic and wellbeing outcomes. Danielle considers the broader systems in which young people live and learn. She believes collaboration with the young person's support network is essential, and ensures that her recommendations are practical and achievable for those involved in the young person's care.
